As the largest coal to methanol/olefin company in the world, Zhongtian Hechuang Energy Co., Ltd. adopts 6.5MPa coal water slurry gasification process and axial and radial converter. The converter is divided into four series, with an annual output of 3.6 million tons of methanol.

In May 2019 and September 2019, the company successfully started the shift III and I series with our presulfurized sulfur tolerant shift catalyst. Compared with the other two series that were replaced at the same time, the operating effect of the catalyst after full load has obvious advantages. The bed temperature distribution is uniform, and the shift rate is higher than that of the other two series that were replaced at the same time. At present, CO at converter outlet is about 3.5% and 2.8% under overload condition. Far better than the design target!
